Why does it crash all the time?!

I constantly have to launch and quit 2 or 3 times before I get a connection that is controllable. Sometimes I get a black screen with a cursor, sometimes I get my desktop but cant control the cursor. Maybe an update would help. This happens on my iPad and iPhone so not device specific.

After last update things seemed to stabilize, but its back to crashing at launch 2 or 3 times before working properly. I love this app and use it constantly when it works, but seriously, why does it crash all the time?! Another star deducted
